An original short film built on a simple question: what if an anniversary film were written like a screenplay instead of assembled like a slideshow?

What it shows
Original concept development. Rather than illustrating a relationship with photographs, the film dramatises it — one couple missing each other across four worlds and four lifetimes, a garden, a canal, a 1928 ballroom, a modern apartment, with a red scarf carrying through all of it and a man who never quite catches it. Only in the final twenty seconds does it cut to real footage. The invented near-misses are what make the real moment land.

How it was made
Four distinct worlds, each with its own period, palette and light, held together by one recurring object and a single emotional line — the scarf does the work a voiceover would otherwise have to do. Delivered as a complete release rather than one export: full film, eighty-nine-second trailer, horizontal and vertical social cuts, scored reel, end card and thumbnails.
